BISON WOODWORKING WILL BE AT THE GREATER KC HOME SHOW. WILL YOU?
It’s fun to go to events and give people an up-close look at
our custom furniture made from American hardwoods and American steel. But we’re
especially psyched about the 70th Annual Greater Kansas City Home
Show, going on Friday, March 23 through Sunday, March 25 at Bartle Hall in the
Kansas City Convention Center.
First, the show is less than two hours from Bison Woodworking
headquarters here in Humboldt, KS. Second, Kansas should be punching their
ticket to the Final Four that weekend, so we’ll have plenty to celebrate.
Third, the Greater Kansas City Home Show is the biggest event of its kind in
the area.
More than 250 builders, remodelers, landscapers, designers
and contractors will be there showing off the latest products and design
trends. Big name presenters include Jeff Lewis from the Bravo TV show Flipping Out, and two Kansas City
natives – Tamara Day from Bargain
Mansions on DIY Network, and Jennifer Bertrand, winner of HGTV’s Design Star competition.
Bison Woodworking will be there with as many products as we
can fit in booth #(fill in number) – rolling carts, kitchen islands, cutting
boards, and everyone’s favorite, the swing arm table. If you’re interested in
taking one home, prices are typically 15-20 percent lower at these events than
on the website.
You can also enter to win one of our heavy duty cutting
boards. Our cutting boards eat the discount store boards for breakfast. They’re
16x24 and two inches thick, made from solid hardwoods. We’ll have a bunch of
cutting boards on display and someone will take one home for free.
One of the great things about these shows is that we get to
spend a lot of time talking to our customers. This is how we find out what
products you want and need the most, what finishes and colors you like, and
what extra features you prefer. We get some of our best ideas by setting up
shop at events like the Greater Kansas City Home Show.
We’re also looking forward to meeting other professionals in
the area. If you’re a designer or showroom owner, or you sell kitchen cabinets
